It has been a long week for me, and a lot of things happened around here. I really mean A LOT, that is why I was too lazy to blog about it.
Since I have the time now, wh
Anyhow, back to the story, where do I begin?
Before I begin, I have to say that I have a really bad memory and I barely remember what happened yesterday, but Imma give it a go.
Thursday 16 Feb - My very first debate competition
Sorry, no pictures. But let me just try my best to picture it for you.
On that day was my very first, super VERY FIRST debate competition, representing the school and my team went against STAJ, Sekolah Tengku Ampuan Jemaah. Of course, I was damn nervous because like I said, it was my first. I was the second speaker, and I was the one that teacher chose to draw the lot and HELL YES! I got the government side. I don't know why I'm so happy or excited, but I've always wanted to get the government side, simply because I'm more comfortable with my prepared speech for government. So, Sastika was the first speaker, I was the second and Sangeet was the third. I must say that we did really well, but macam biasalah, to Ms. V, our 'good' is her 'worst'.
Honestly, the only reason I'm scared of debating is that when the POIs come. I frigging hate POIs, man. I mean, I am not that kind of person who could think impulsively and bomb that person-who-frigging-bombed-me-with-the-POI back, you know. Every time I get a POI, I'll run from it. I'll either say, "Sorry, sir, you're taking too much of my time,"(even though that person didn't take much of my time at all) or "My third speaker will get back to you," or whatever it is as long as that person who POI-ed me sit back down and shut the hell up and get me back with my speech. LOLZ, I really am that paranoid.
It was a good experience for me, though. The first speaker from the opposition team was a Malay, and I swear to God, she has one of the weirdest slang I've ever heard. I barely understood anything that she said, and I was supposed to REBUT her BUT, I can't frigging understand. I wasn't dreaming, I'm pretty sure bout that. So, when I took the floor and started speaking, I greeted everyone, and then I said something that I'm going to 'facepalm' myself for the rest of my life. Wanna know what I said?
"Before I begin with my speech, I would first like to rebut the points proposed by the opposition. Em... the points....proposed by the...em.... opposition....was.....(I didn't jot anything down from what she said, because I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND) em, was... not clarified and unclear. Therefore, I am not going to rebut. Okay, back to my speech."

WAS NOT CLARIFIED AND UNCLEAR? DAFUQ? Was that THE BEST I could come up with? HAHAHAHAHHAA. I said I was GOING TO REBUT but then I DIDN'T. *ultimate facepalm* I guess, that's what happens when you don't listen good enough.
Although it was very embarrassing, but looking back, instead of feeling ...
I felt ...
Friday 17 Feb - Bengkel Kepimpinan
I just google-translated that, and in English it's "LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP" LOLZ. Might as well just call it Bengkel Kepimpinan. hahaha, anyways, I am the treasurer of St. John club in my school, so I had to go. The bengkel was only for Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers of all clubs. And we got this super striking hot pink t-shirt and it it uggglleeeyhh. But it's different, something new, something unseen before. I wonder why teacher chose that color. She might be colorblind. Oh well, I'm still having that t-shirt despite the fact that the color is......
So, the bengkel was held throughout the whole day and apparently we didn't enter the class, meaning we missed out a lot. I missed out a lot. Especially on AddMath. Gosh, I miss Add Math classes. Or maybe just the teacher. Hm.
Back to the story, it was a full day for me. I mean, we were just done with our first round of debate and the second round was coming in less than 6 days and we actually only had 2 days to fully prepare ourselves, but oh well, things don't always go right, or... you don't always WANT to get it right. I'll explain that later.
We finished at one, and then there was a short meet-up with Ms. V, she wanted to see our points and research for debate, which fyi, I didn't have or do any for certain reasons. We finished around 2.30pm and then we, Sastika, me, Peven rushed to Dewan Hamzah, located just opposite the school, except that it's..... at the top of a hill. Mehh, just kidding. But yeah, I hate climbing up the stairs. I mean, we dah lah tired running here and there, then kena climb up the stairs yang super steep. Aiyo. Maklumlah, orang gemuk.
Oh forgot to tell you why we went there, lolz. I get drifted from the topic very easily. We went there for IU day rehearsal, which was going to be on Sunday, last Sunday (19 Feb). I didn't do much because I wasn't involved in anything. I was just the 'media crew' and I was in charge of the videos and slideshows and sorts. My leader, Media leader, was Goh Guat Ying, and she is like the best senior I've ever had. She's so calmed and cheerful no matter how stressful the situation is. She always appreciates my work even though it wasn't so awesome. What works, you may ask? I'll show you.
On Saturday, hm, I don't remember much what happened on Saturday, but I remember a lot what happened the next day which was....
Sunday 19 Feb - MGS-SAMAD International Understanding Day 2012
My school, combined with Samad school, MGS-SAMAD IU DAY! Tadaaaaa! It was EPIC. E.P.I.C. Epic. I repeat, Epic. Even though the flash mob sucked, but yeahh. The rest was a massive hit! Everyone enjoyed themselves and it's so nice everyone kept talking about it on Facebook and anywhere else in school, and many of them regretted that they didn't get to go. Sobs.. Boo-yah!
I wish I had pictures to show you guys the awesomeness, but... I've been very lazy to bring my camera lately. I haven't had my camera in my hands for more than a month now. I just don't like bringing cameras anywhere I go anymore. Usually I bring my camera on every important event. But thinking that there will be bunch of photographers with their overpriced cameras, I thought, why bring? Other people are going to snap them and upload it, right?
I was wrong. People don't snap what I would want to snap. Most importantly, PEOPLE DON'T SNAP MY FACE! Shitzz. Out of all the overpriced cameras, takde satu pun that has my face in it. I've seen all the albums uploaded by some of the photographers, and out of thousands of pictures, I was in NONE. How sad is that? It was my first IU day, and I was like... unknown. And...sobs.... I was the one....sobs.... who did....sobs.....those videos.....
Oh wellz, that's okayzz. (oh my god, that 'zzz' disease is back). I guess things like that happens. As long as you are part of the crews, it's awesome. I mean, there are a lot of othe
